Leaves: when young, covered with silvery hairs, later smooth, edges with rounded teeth
Flowers: head 1/4" wide with yellow disk and no rays; inflorescence of many heads in flat to round-topped clusters; blooms Aug.-Oct.
Habitat: roadside, disturbed areas
