Senna obtusifolia (L.) Irwin & Barneby was collected from railroad ballast in 1989 in Pierce Co. It is native much farther south and seems unlikely to become established in the state. Both of our species are commonly planted far out of their respective ranges in prairie restorations and native plant gardens.
