Small (surface area=25 acres), shallow (max depth=26ft) seepage lake of very low fertility; water very clear, acidic; bottom sand and gravel. Only 9 vascular plant spp present in the whole lake, the 6 w/ rosette habit all abundant, mostly submerged and. sterile, partly hidden under 1" deep layer of loose much and algae.
