Habitat: In moist depressions between former lake beaches
Occurrence Remarks: Cannot read some words on label; So referred becuae of spreading sepals, culms sulcate below the inflorescence-apparently not quite typical since capsule sometimes is very little if any shorter than sepals! SCW Nov 1934; nor are sepals always distinctly longer than petals!; ... smaller than in typical pylaei!; sepals not so long attenuate as in typ. pylaei
