Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Richland, 1.7-2 km. SE of Twin Bluffs, along old railroad grade, now the Pine River hiking/biking trail, through the Sextonville Bog

Habitat: Open areas with low prairie species (Hasteola suaveolens, Eupatorium maculatum, Cirsium muticum) and with some Cornus amomum, Salix spp., Alnus rugosa, Ulmus americana, the surrounding extensive deep marsh with Typha, Sagittaria, Sparganium and Cyperaceae.
Occurrence Remarks: Shrub 3 m. tall, the only one seen between here and Twin Bluffs along the trail. Fruit green.
