Habitat:
Small marshy opening toward periphery of well-developed Ulmus-Fraxinus-Thuja-Larix swamp. Assoc.: Equisetum fluviatile, Thelypteris palustris var. pubescens, Smilacina trifolia, Caltha palustris, Viola cucullata, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Cicuta maculata, Cornus stolonifera, Galium labradoricum, and Campanula aparinoides var. grandiflora. Peat- and marl-filled, post-glacial lake basin.
