Habitat:
Shallow water of small seepage lake of very low fertility; assoc. with three near-shore, floating-lvd. aquatic spp.: Eleocharis robbinsii, Sparganium angustifolium, & Nuphar variegata.
Occurrence Remarks:
Flowers slightly fragrant (12:00 noon CDT). Rooted in loose coarse peat over sandy gravelly bottom. Very rare here.
