Habitat: Narrow but deep, watery moat bordering Dulichium-Carex floating mat, shaded by tall overhanging shrubs (mostly Salix) on adjacent bank. Edges of moat at mat with Typha latifolia, at bank with Carex gynandra, Juncus effusus, & Scirpus cyperinus. Puccinellia in water 14 in. & more deep. Boggy pocket embedded in extensive upland forest.
Occurrence Remarks: Culms loosely decumbent, bases floating; larger lf.-blades 4--4.5 mm with ligules 5.7--6.1 mm; larger lemmas 2.6 mm; anths. 0.5--0.7 mm.
