Dense thicket of Rhamnus cathartica-Lonicera morrowii-Robinia hispida under a couple of old Quercus macrocarpa trees, with Alliaria petiolata, Galium aparine, and Vitis riparia.
Flrs. dark pink (dried blue-violet) with yellow splotch on banner. Spreading beyond original central, presumably planted, largest shrubs. Rampantly spreading for a distance of 26 yards north-south along road (ca. 30 plants flowering size, i.e., 7-15 ft. tall) and 13 yds., westard along edge of field lane (20 more shrubs flowering size plus numerous shoots ca. 18 cm. tall).
