Shallow water of slough with muck bottom and edge of marsh, with Nymphaea odorata, Pontederia cordata, Typha latifolia, Carex, Campanula aparinodes, Cicuta bulbifera.
Occurrence Remarks:
[Sheet 1 of 2] In shallow water over muck. Very few flowers open at this time (3:00 P.M., sunny); flowers lightly fragrant with heavy sweet smell. Petals white; stamens yellow.
