Habitat:
Northern mesic forest of Acer saccharum-Fagus grandifolia-Tilia americana with Pinus strobus & Betula papyrifera, on terrace above creek. Assoc.: Actaea rubra, Berberis thunbergii, Cornus alternifolia (small shrubs, hardly more than seedlings), Cystopteris bulbifera, Lonicera tatarica, Sanguinaria canadensis, & Thalictrum dioicum.
Occurrence Remarks:
Widest lf.-blades 2.2--2.3 mm. Abundant, SW part of tract (Carex radiata also present).
