Locality:
United States, Wisconsin, Richland, 1.9 km. SE of Twin Bluffs, Sextonville Bog, between Hwy 14 and old railroad (now the Pine River hiking/biking trail); floodplain of Pine River
Habitat:
Extensive marsh of Typha, Sparganium with scattered Alnus incana ssp. rugosa, and patches of Larix laricina surrounded by Toxicodendron vernix, but without Sphagnum or Ericaceae. Floodplain of river but mostly isolated from influx of silt during floods.
Occurrence Remarks:
On relatively firm base of Larix laricina in an "island", not in surrounding marsh.
