Growing with Quercus elipsiodalis, Q. macrophylla, Comptonia peregrina Prunus americana, Carex pensylvanica, Andropogon gerardii, Apocynum androsaemifolium, Conyza canadensis, Helianthemum canadense, Hieracium aurantiacum, Lysimachia quadrifolia, Oenothera biennis, Schizachyrium scoparium, Solidago nemoralis, etc.
