Habitat: N-facing cliff above little-used dirt road to old, small quarry of dolomite on ridgetop.
Occurrence Remarks: Many shrubs but restricted to narrow zone at edge of line of sandstone cliffs and a few meters up into forest of Quercus rubra. To 2.5 m. tall, 2.5 cm. in diameter, ca. 14 years old. Voucher for wood specimens in Kw, Lw, MADw, RSAw. Corolla white, at end of flowering period.
