Habitat:
Five-acre dry-mesic prairie remnant, heavily grazed in the past & very weedy, somewhat shrub invaded (mostly Crataegus & Malus, some Zanthoxylum americanum, very little Lonicera), near bottom of gentle W-facing slope. Poa pratensis dominant, Andropogon, Bouteloua, & Schizachyrium all very rare, Carex 14193 in light shade at edge of Prunus serotina-Zanthoxylum thicket with Achillea millefolium, Cerastium fontanum, Leucanthemum vulgare, Solidago canadensis var. ?, little else.
