Flat, dry sand terrace above slough along gravel road to parking area, thin woods with Quercus velutina, Prunus serotina.
Occurrence Remarks:
Tree 18 m. tall, 50 cm. in diameter, with 3 other smaller trunks from the base. Bark peeling into curled, light brown segments. Crushed twigs with no odor. Voucher for wood specimen, Kw, Lw, MADw, MEXUw, RSAw; wood speciemen from an upper trunk. Only a few fragments of old fruiting inflorescences left.
