Habitat: Sedge meaedow-like area, wet-to-damp, in very shallow soil over limestone. Dominated by Carex buxbaumii. The area is being strongly invaded by Fraxinus pennsylvanica and some Populus tremuloides. With Spiraea alba, Spartina pectinata, Gentiana andrewsii.
