Habitat: Marshy, sedge-meadow-like ground, flat bottomland along creek. Assoc.: Hasteola suaveolens, Hydrocotyle americana, & Platanthera psycodes.
Occurrence Remarks: Long, E-W-lying, narrow cool gorge of Cambrian sandstone and quartzite conglomerate located along Honey Creek.
