Habitat: Northern mesic forest of Acer saccharum-Fagus grandifolia with Tilia americana, Quercus rubra, Fraxinus americana, occasional Betula papyrifera, & rare Pinus strobus & Q. alba, on terrace above creek. Right at base of large Q. alba tree (27 in. D.B.H.), assoc. with Claytonia virginica, Circaea lutetiana subsp. canadensis, Hydrophyllum virginianum, Streptopus roseus (rare; 2 stems = 1 plant seen), Thalictrum dioicum, Trillium grandiflorum, Viola pubescens, & moss 15685.
Occurrence Remarks: Rare. S part of tract.
