Habitat:
Among moss-covered talus, wooded floodplain at base of E-facing cliff of fractured blocky Niagara dolomite), northern wet-mesic forest of Thuja occidentalis (1 dom.)-Betula alleghaniensis (2 dom.). Assoc. for Torilis: woody understory with Cornus alternifolia, ground layer with Actaea rubra, Agastache scrophulariaefolia, Cystopteris bulbifera, Dryopteris sp., Geum canadense, Hydrophyllum virginianum, Impatiens capensis, Maianthemum racemosum, & Thalictrum dioicum.
Occurrence Remarks:
Fairly tall, biennial herb. Single plant seen, here in pristine-appearing habitat. (Sheet 1 of 2 sheets)
