Swamp with Larix laricina, Picea mariana, P. glauca, Abies balsamea, Sphagnum, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Ledum groenlandicum, Betula pumila and the edge with Salix lucida, S. discolor, S. petiolaris and Alnus incana ssp. rugosa.
Occurrence Remarks:
In swamp. Shrub 1.8 m. tall, 2.8 cm in diameter, a clump of a dozen stems. Voucher for wood specimens at Kw, Lw, MADw, MEXUw, RSAw. Fruit yellow-green, held erect or ascending.
