Habitat: Extensive marsh of Typha, Sparganium with scattered Alnus incana ssp. rugosa, and patches of Larix laricina surrounded by Toxicodendron vernix, but without Sphagnum or Ericaceae. Floodplain of river but mostly isolated from influx of silt during floods. Same bog (>100 acres) as H. P. Hansen 489 (WIS).
Occurrence Remarks: Common. Petals white, delicate.
