Habitat: Damp or intermittently wet depression, formerly sedge meadow, now Typha Xglauca dominant & Phalaris arundinacea subdominant, with Barbarea vulgaris, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Impatiens capensis, Pilea (P. fontana?), Urtica dioica subsp. gracilis, little else.
Occurrence Remarks: Sht. 1: last year's fertile stem, infructescence w/ very slender stigmas & bracteoles; sht. 2 this year's vegetative shoot w/ tapered auricles. (Sheet 1 of 2 sheets)
