Habitat:
Sides & top of sandstone boulder bordering roadside at base of slope, S end of N-S-lying bluff of St. Peter sandstone capped by thin layer of Platteville dolomite. In semishade of overhanging Morus alba & Rhus glabra shrubs with a casual sparse mix of native & introduced spp.: Campanula rotundifolia, Conyza canadensis, Poa compressa, Silene antirrhina, & mosses (incl. Ceratodon purpureum), lichens, & liverworts.
