Habitat: Mesic woods dominated by basswood and sugar maple. Understory incredibly rich (few exotics) with trillium spp., wood anemone, bloodroot, spring-beauty, ramps, waterleaf, and Erythronium spp.
Occurrence Remarks: Abundant, forming large patches.
