Habitat:
Floodplain of river, between cultivated field and the old railroad, now a bike trail, Zanthoxylum americanum, Quercus ellipsoidalis.
Occurrence Remarks:
Treelet 6 m tall, 12 cm in diameter. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Almost all leaves with large orange rust spots except for the vigorous shoots with younger leaves. Leaves, especially the more lobed ones on younger vigorous shoots resemble those of some simple-leaved species of Sorbus. Fruit few, green, the surface not glutinous, the largest 3.0cm in diameter
