Habitat: Patch of shrubs along steep W-facing bank along road, to 1.5 m tall, evidently spreading from cultivated shrubs with Picea glauca, Pinus strobus near house on the slope above.
Occurrence Remarks: Bristles reddish, on stem, petioles etc. Inflorescences hanging; flowers on odorless (11:30 A.M., sunny), deep pink, with pale yellowish green spot on standard.
