Habitat:
A large, shallow, spring-fed slough (less than 1 m deep), controlled by a culvert through the dam, in floodplain of Wisconsin River, bordered on the north by the dry sand plain. With Pontederia cordata, Nymphaea odorata, Nuphar variegata, Ceratophyllum demersum, Myrophyllum, Elodea, Potamogeton crispus, Vallisneria americana.
Occurrence Remarks:
Near boat landing, the only place where noticed. Submerged, with conspicuous spiral pedicel.
