Habitat: A large, shallow, spring-fed slough (less than 1 m deep), controlled by a culvert through the dam, bordered on the north by the dry sand plain. With Pontederia cordata, Nymphaea odorata, Nuphar variegata, Ceratophyllum demersum, Myrophyllum, Elodea, Potamogeton crispus, Vallisneria americana.
Occurrence Remarks: Submerged except for the erect, emergent inflorescences. All leaves conspicuously crisped.
