Along bike trail, Acer saccharinum, Quercus macrocarpa, Q. ellipsoidalis, Ulmus americana, Corylus americana.
Occurrence Remarks:
Patch of shrubs, with slender stems, to 1.5 m tall, 0.8 cm in diameter. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Some 1-year-old stems with 3 corky wings from the base of the nodes. Inflorescence hanging; flowers yellow-green, odorless (5:30 P.M., sunny).
