Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Dane, Sauk Prairie Unit of the WI River and adjacent private land located at the end of Beaver Rd., ca.6 km SW of Sauk City.

Habitat: The vast majority growing within 1 m of a dirt/gravel road through the area. Floodplain jgtqw forest, overstory trees included: Celtis occidentalis, Betula nigra, Fraxinus sp., Carya cordiformis, Ulmus sp., and Quercus spp.Common understory associates included: Polygonum virginianum, Phlox divaricata, Carices, Viola pubescens, and Taxicodendron.
Occurrence Remarks: >1000 stems widely scattered over a large area (~200m x 2000m)
