Habitat:
Young woods ca. 50 years old, grown up in corner of former field, gentle E-facing slope in small valley, surrounded by cultivated fields. With Prunus serotina, Celtis occidentalis, Ulmus americana.
Occurrence Remarks:
Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Same individual collected with leaves and ripe fruit on 21 May 2015 under no. Nee 62165.; Tree 21 m tall, 55 cm in diameter (measured), with two equal main trunks. Bark finely and tightly flaky, light gray-brown. Tree in full bloom throughout the crown; herbarium specimens from top of crown.
