Habitat: Secondary forest of Populus cf. candicans, P. tremuloides along old railroad grade, now converted to a trail, "Tri-County Corridor."
Occurrence Remarks: Slender shrub, 3 m tall, 2.5 cm in diameter. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Inflorescence white; flowers nearly odorless (8:30 A.M., sunny); anthers pale yellow.
