Habitat:
Narrow ridgetop on Prairie du Chien dolomite. With Quercus alba, Q. rubra, Q. macrocapra, Zanthoxylum americanum, Juglans cinerea.
Occurrence Remarks:
Shrub 4 m tall, 10 cm in diameter, ca. 13 years old, this individual with the largest stem of any seen in this woods. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Corolla white, with only a slight bit of pink toward base, fading dull light yellow.
