Habitat:
Sandy terrace above normal flood levels, very sandy soil, along now closed road to Pinus resinosa plantation which was harvested in 2013 or 2014. Much bare sand and little competition, and Linaria canadensis, Arabis glabra, Krigia virginica, and Hedeoma hispida are robust.
Occurrence Remarks:
Common here in bare sand with little competition, also in +/- undisturbed adjacent sand prairie but less robust there. Flowers lilac, differing slightly in color from plant to plant.
