Habitat:
With Acer negundo, Sambucus canadensis, Phalaris arundinacea, Lonicera x bella complex, Corylus americana. In broad river valley.
Occurrence Remarks:
Loose clump 2.5 m tall, of ca. 12 stems of various sizes, the maximum 2.5 cm in diameter. This same individual collected in flower on 14 April 2015 under no. Nee 62083. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Pistillate; see Nee 62084 = 62319 for a nearby staminate plant of this species.
