Habitat: With Phalaris arundinacea, Calamagrostis canadensis, partly shaded by Acer saccharinum, on RR embankment above deep marsh.
Occurrence Remarks: Small colony of about a dozen plants. Sap milky. Not seen elsewhere along the RR from Lone Rock westwards to the bridge over the Wisconsin River.
