Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Richland, 2 miles NW of Blue River, floodplain of the Wisconsin River, along the channel (usually with flowing water) flowing into Garner Lake.

Habitat: Extensive marsh with Bolboschoenus fluviatilis, Sagittaria latifolia, Sparganium eurycarpum, Asclepias incarnata.
Occurrence Remarks: In marsh, with bases in water. Main leaves now withered and brown, larger and wider than the few younger green leaves. Inflorescences intact, but the heads of achenes disintegrating during drying.
