Habitat:
Occasionally mowed sandy vacant lot in commercial arae in the town.
Occurrence Remarks:
A number of patches to 3 m in diameter. Inflorescence reddish, somewhat similar in color from a distance to Digitaria sanguinalis, Leptoloma cognatum or Panicum capillare. 1.4 km SSW of the park along the Wisconsin River where this species first found for Wisconsin by E. Judziewicz in 2012.
