Habitat:
N end of cornfield, open, grassy, along creek, with Physocarpus opulifolius and both evidently planted.
Occurrence Remarks:
Shrub 4 m tall, ca. 12 stems in a clump. Peripheral sterile flowers white; buds creamy. There are three other clumps here, and more around the old farmhouse.
