Habitat:
Secondary forest of Populus cf. candicans, P. tremuloides along old railroad grade, now converted to a trail, "Tri-County Corridor".
Occurrence Remarks:
Small colony (clone), to 2.2 m tall, 2.5 cm in diameter. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Young twigs reddish, the middle ones green, the oldest stems brown. Flowers white.
