Locality:
United States, Wisconsin, Polk, Rest area, junction Hwy. 35 and Hwy. 8, 7.6 km E of Hwy. 8 bridge over the St. Croix River at St. Croix Falls.
Habitat:
Young secondary deciduous forest and grassy edges, flat, Ulmus rubra, U. americana, Acer saccharum, Fraxinus nigra.
Occurrence Remarks:
Forming thickets of arching stems, at edge of woods and grassy area, also invading the grassy area. Petals white, but inconspicuous and mostly done flowering now.
