Habitat:
Old field on ridgetop. With Solidago, Bromus inermis, Monarda fistulosa, near scattered plants and large patches of Silphium perfoliatum. This ridgetop field appears not to have been planted with prairie plants, with only a couple of the most aggressive native prairie plants invading, such as Rudbeckia hirta.
Occurrence Remarks:
A few scattered plants and in a patch of many clumps.
