Habitat: Top of St. Peter sandstone cliffs near top of the N-facing Wisconsin River valley bluff.
Occurrence Remarks: Two large old trees, surely native and not planted, with Polypodium virginianum. There are also two large saplings, one recently blown over. See also Nee 62103, from a very large old Pinus strobus planted at the old farmstead on the flatter ridgetop, 1.1 km ESE on the ridgetop amid former agricultural fields.
