Habitat:
The dominant tree along Spring Creek at the old railroad (now a bike trail), pastured many years ago, within broad valley of Pine River and within its floodplain.
Occurrence Remarks:
The trees had been cut off and now all the Salix are pollarded and multi-stemmed. Tree 12 m tall, 15 cm in diameter. This same individual collected in leaf on 3 July 2015 under no. Nee 62320. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. Staminate.
