Habitat: Small unmowed and unplowed patch where Hwy. 61 curves slightly and leaves this tiny strip belonging to property on W side of the highway. On nearly flat ridgetop, otherwise surrounded by cultivated fields.
Occurrence Remarks: Weedy, but with a few apparently persisting native prairie plants, S. terebinthinaceum, S. laciniatum, Ratibida pinnata, Aster pilosa, Solidago.
