Habitat: Thin young stand of Ulmus rubra, Rhus typhina in unused part of quarry, with deciduous forest of Ulmus rubra, Tilia americana, Acer saccharum on surrounding slope.
Occurrence Remarks: Scrambling, almost viny, to 3 m where supported in shrubs. Flowers lightly fragrant; petals pink in bud, white in flower. Edge of woods with Ulmus rubra, Tilia americana, Acer saccharum.
