Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Marathon, Little Eau Plaine River, McMillan State Wildlife Area. There is also a small population along the Little Eau Pleine, McMillan SWA, in T26N, R03E, Sec. 18.

Habitat: Hardwood swamp. Calyx hairs appressed, straight; corolla 3--4 mm across; style shorter than the nutlets. Large population of an estimated 1000 plants.
