Habitat:
Mowed, grassy, gravelly low spot where spring water trickles across a lane traversing semi-open, marshy, wooded bottomland. Aspect dominants: Salix nigra & Fraxinus pennsylvanica; assoc. for Myosotis: Boehmeria cylindrica, Lathyrus palustris, Mentha arvensis, Fraxinus pennsylvanica seedlings, and in one spot, Eleocharis acicularis. Forming a colony in and at edge of lane, disappearing immediately where Phalaris arundinacea enters.
Occurrence Remarks:
Corolla (fresh) 8--9 mm in diam. when dried 6--7 mm. At the spot called "Blanding Turtle Crossing" by the property owners
