Habitat:
Clear cool flowing water from 9 to 45 in. deep, bottom varying from cobble to gravel and sand but mostly silt. Assoc.: Callitriche stagnalis, Elodea canadensis, Nasturtium officinale, Potamogeton crispus, P. foliosus, Ranunculus longirostris, Stuckenia pectinata, and Zannichellia palustris.
Occurrence Remarks:
Lemna minor sens. str. Abundant all along stretch from N43 06'24", W089 38'22" (E endpoint of Stuckenia population) to N43 06'38", W089 38'43" (W endpoint).
